Our History

Patrick is a licensed and ordained minister of the Gospel, who believes that his purpose and ministry is to serve those outside of the four walls of the church in under-resourced areas of his community. 

He founded Y-MOT in 1996 as part of a three year internship through the Urban Youth Initiative and Crichton College.

Patrick and Hazel were married in 1997. They have one son.

In 1999, he graduated from UYI.

In 2005, he completed the

Devos Urban Leadership Program.

She began the UYI program in 2007 and is currently in her second year of studies this Fall.

In May 2007, Y-MOT became incorporated as a non-profit faith-based organization.

Presently, with the favor of God and the help of faithful supporters Y-MOT is implementing it's strategic growth plan and vision to further evangelize and disciple youth throughout the 38109 zip code and surrounding areas of Memphis, TN.
